Lagoon Boating Rules and Regulations - Owner Declaration Form
As per the request received from the Red Sea Governorate Coast Guard, kindly find below a form, in English, concerning the usage of your boats inside the lagoons and in the open sea. The form is available in Arabic from Customer Services Department or from Orascom Marine Management office at Abu Tig Marina.
You are kindly requested to proceed as follows:
Print the declaration and sign it (documents may be signed at the Abu Tig Marina’s office as well).
Attach photocopies of the required documents (Coast Guard personnel may want to check originals and returning them back to owner as Orascom Marine Management office never keeps original documents).
Add updated contacts: boat owner, mobile number, and email – Mobile number to be contacted in case of emergency.
Deliver all documents to Abu Tig Marina’s office at the south basin above Sunseeker showroom OR scan all documents and email to info@abutig-marina.com.
Both the Marina and the Security teams are patrolling the lagoons since two weeks. They are doing their utmost to communicate the above to all of our valued boat owners. Also, please be informed that most of the time, one of the coast guard personnel accompanies our team.
Important Notice: kindly note that JetSkis are banned from the whole Red Sea, which includes El Gouna Lagoons, as per the Red Sea Governor instructions.
