Safety Precautions and Procedures

Since we are approaching a busy period in El Gouna, we would like to remind you all of some valuable information and procedures, as well as Rules and Regulations while using non-motorized vehicles and vessels. As well as some safety procedures regarding your homes.

We would like to bring to your attention some information regarding  El Gouna Rally Special 2017, starting from the 17th  till the 18th of February, 2017.

There will be a parade, held on Friday, February 17th, 2017, taking place at 10:30AM, opposite the Ali Pasha Hotel.

Please be aware that during the time of the parade, there will be some interference in the roads around Ali Pacha for just a few hours.

Please drive safely, and we hope you enjoy the parade and festivities.

Thank you all sincerely for your attention and patience, and we apologize for any inconveniences this may cause.

Bikes, Vehicles and Vessels:

·         We encourage all cycling to be inside the yellow line on the side of the roads, and that you please follow all traffic rules and signs.

·         During lagoon activities, such as swimming, paddling, kayaking etc. -kindly ensure to take extra care, since there are no lifeguards on duty, therefore all of the above activities are at your own risk. Please also keep a look out for boats and canoes. 

·         All safety gear and equipment should be worn at all times during these activities, as well as any flotation devices necessary in the water and on the boats and vessels.

·         All motorized activities inside the lagoons and marinas are allowed,  but with a maximum speed limit of 5 knots. Please ensure to abide to speed limits for your own safety, as well as the safety of other users and to protect our local environment.

·         No jet skis are allowed inside the lagoons or El Gouna's  Marinas.

·         Should you decide to use your own non-motorized vessels outside of the lagoons, kindly be sure toinform the nearest Watersport or Kite Center located along the coastlines of El Gouna.
