Orascom has produced a guide for owners.  It includes updated information on:

Homeowner's Card discounts at hotels, restaurants, bars, shops, activities
Orascom real estate offices
El Gouna Rules and Regulations
Electricity & Water prices
El Gouna app

There is also a similar booklet for long-term renters.

Copies can be picked up at the new Customer Services offices (the former museum) in Downtown.

El Gouna Residents, Kindly note that as a further step to improve the governmental service to all El Gouna residents and to facilitate the communication channels with the governmental offices, there will be a new branch for the Notary Public Office “El Shahr El Akari” in El Gouna. This office is entrusted with registering contracts, title deeds, property sales, etc. and is an arm of the Egyptian Ministry of Justice.  The delayed opening of the branch is now rescheduled for the end of April.    The office will be in operation Sundays & Wednesdays only.   Working Hours: from 8:30am till 04:00pm. An Interesting German Book on Hurghada's History

Contributor Flavio Bessig writes to tell us about an interesting book in German he read, that deals with Hurghada and its history : "A hotel! In the middle of the desert!?
