Boating Rules and Regulations



Dear El Gouna Homeowners & Residents,

We would like to take this opportunity to remind you with the boating/lagoon rules and regulations implemented by El Gouna Management in reference to instructions received from the Coast Guard and Red Sea Governorate.

All boat owners are kindly requested to proceed as follows:

  •  
Print the attached declaration form and sign it (documents could be signed at the Abu Tig Marina’s office as well)
  •  
Attach photocopies of the required documents and keep originals on-board (Coast Guard personnel might want to check originals at any time)
  •  
Add updated contact details: boat's owner name, mobile number, and email address as well as details of contact person in case of emergency (if it's not the owner)
  •  
Deliver all documents to Abu Tig Marina’s office at the south basin above Sunseeker showroom OR scan all documents and send to info@abutig-marina.com

Please make sure to provide Abu Tig Marina office with all the renewed licenses on regular basis.
  
Important Notice: kindly note that Jet Skies are banned from the whole Red Sea “which includes ElGouna Lagoons” as per the Red Sea Governor instructions.
Boats with invalid permissions, if caught by Coast Guard or other governmental authorities (inside or outside lagoons) will be held until all documents are received.
