El Gouna Private Party Rules and Regulations

El Gouna Customer Service has stipulated in its weekly newsletter the following rules and regulations regarding private parties:


Owners are required to notify Customer Service with upcoming parties two days in advance. Customer Service will inform neighbors. Music to be kept indoors. If must be outdoors, then music to be kept at a tolerable level so not to disturb neighbors. 

Loud music is only allowed until midnight on weekdays. On weekends no later than 2am. 

In the event of neighbours complaining, music volume must be lowered. 

In the event of violation of the above El Gouna management will take measures to protect the community’s rights.

Public Notary to serve El Gouna - Rescheduled Opening Date

El Gouna Residents, Kindly note that as a further step to improve the governmental service to all El Gouna residents and to facilitate the communication channels with the governmental offices, there will be a new branch for the Notary Public Office “El Shahr El Akari” in El Gouna. This office is entrusted with registering contracts, title deeds, property sales, etc. and is an arm of the Egyptian Ministry of Justice.  The delayed opening of the branch is now rescheduled for the end of April.    The office will be in operation Sundays & Wednesdays only.   Working Hours: from 8:30am till 04:00pm.
